Our Musical Line Up
Our headlining act for 2018 will be Confederate Railroad (Website). From rowdy country to raw emotion, Confederate Railroad covers a wide range of feelings. Young people will be there rocking to “Trashy Women”, while their parents and even grandparents will likely be singing along to “Jesus and Mama”. They have sold over 5 million albums and charted 18 hits while entertaining millions since the early 90’s.
Our second headliner is Ryan Daniel (Website). Ryan has received numerous awards from The Indie Music Channel to include “Best Country Contemporary Video” for “Feel Good Feelin’” (2017), “Best Country Artist” (2016), “Album of the Year” for “Love, Life and Memories” (2014) and “Country Song of the Year for “Love Lives On” (2014) written by Billy Currington. Ryan also won 2018 Veteran In Blue Award and was nominated for the 2017 Radio Music Award for “Feel Good Feelin”.
Louisiana LeRoux (Website) is another great band for our festival, with 50 years of performing their unique style around the world. They use blues, R&B, funk, jazz, rock, and Cajun as their base to bring a laid-back feel of the “Big Easy” to every venue they play evoking images of Bourbon Street and the bayou.
Waylon Thibodeaux (Website) was born in Louisiana’s ‘Bayou Country’ just a few miles southwest of New Orleans. Waylon has been dubbed “Louisiana’s Rockin Fiddler.” His unique musical style is best described by Thibodeaux himself:
“It’s a mixture –it’s Cajun, but not too traditional, it’s Zydeco with a pinch of New Orleans’ sound, a small pinch of South Louisiana “Swamp Pop”, a taste of Country and a little Rock n’ Roll that’s sure to get you on your feet and dancing.”
In addition to the great headliners, we will feature Na Na Sha, a great regional group that features music from the “ Doo Wop” 50s and “Rythem & Blues) from the 60s and 70s plus The Tommy Morris Band, a high energy “Rock and Dance Variety Band” that plays all of your favorite tunes, from Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk”, Pharrell Williams’ “Happy”, Stevie Ray’s “Pride and Joy”, The Temptation’s “My Girl”, Darius Rucker’s “Wagon Wheel”, to Prince’s “Purple Rain!!!”, and everything in between! Rounding out our line up for the day The Martini Shakers, playing great rock n roll hits from the 50s and 60s. Rounding out our musical line up will the Strange Theories from Lafayette, LA with lead singer Gabe Broussard, a recent contestant on the Voice and Zena Carpenter, a local singer songwriter.
