Raffle tickets were sold for the more than 40 door prizes provided by local businesses, organizations, and individuals to raise additional monies for the Weekend Food Program Navarre.
The Greater Navarre Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Samurai Japanese Steak House and Sushi, set out to raise at least $2000 for the Weekend Food Program Navarre. The final tally, including ticket sales and tips, exceed the goal at $2057.00. The Greater Navarre Area Chamber of Commerce will host a formal check presentation at Samurai Japanese Steak House and Sushi in the next week.
This event would not have been possible without the work of countless volunteers, the many businesses, organizations, and individuals who donated raffle prizes and the generosity of Roxanne Lee and Samurai Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi.
