

Santa Rosa County District 2 Commissioner Bob Cole, during the June 8th meeting of the Board of County Commissioners, asked the Greater Navarre Area Chamber of Commerce for help in determining how the community felt about replacement of the iconic “Welcome to Navarre Beach” signs at Highway 98 and the Navarre Causeway. In response to this request, a (5) question poll was posted on our website with a close date of June 30, 2017 and a promise of transparency in sharing the results.
Three of the five questions were specific to signage and respondents had the option to answer yes, no or no opinion. Questions four and five asked respondents if they lived in District 4 and for their zip code. The poll was hosted on a secure server and utilized various methods of tracking respondents, prohibiting more than one submission. There were 916 total respondents – here are the poll results:
